Test cards and scenarios

FlowAlp Pay test cards to simulate confirmed and declined card payments in test mode, plus scenarios for TWINT, wallets, and refunds.
With test mode enabled you can trigger specific payment outcomes deterministically. This page lists the test card numbers for confirmed and declined payments and describes scenarios for methods without test cards, such as TWINT. New to test mode? Start with Testing for developers.
Enable test mode
- Sign in to your dashboard at your tenant URL.
- Open the configuration of the payment method or payment provider you want to test.
- Switch the mode from Live to Test and save.
- Open your payment page: the affected methods are labelled TEST, and valid test cards are displayed directly on the page.
Cards for confirmed and declined payments
Use these numbers on the checkout while the card method is in test mode:

The exact set of accepted test cards depends on the acquiring configuration of your account — the authoritative list is the one shown on your payment page in test mode. Test cards never work in live mode. If none of the numbers above are accepted, use the cards displayed on your payment page or contact support.

Depending on your account configuration, further brands and card variants are available for successful test payments (any CVC of the right length, any future expiry date):

Scenarios without cards
- TWINT, PostFinance, purchase on invoice: test payments with these methods always complete with a confirmed status — use the declined test cards above to rehearse failure handling.
- Apple Pay, Google Pay, and other wallets: availability in test mode depends on your account configuration.
- Refunds: test payments can be refunded in test mode — validate your refund process and the resulting webhooks end to end.

Clean up test data
Test payments cannot be deleted. To hide them, filter the transaction list in the dashboard by mode and show live payments only. Keep test transactions out of your revenue reports the same way.
